Correct cover, every pour
Concrete cover is what protects reinforcement from corrosion and gives the structure its design durability. Bar chairs hold the steel at the right height above the formwork so the cover specified by AS 3600 is actually achieved on site.
Four height combinations span everything from light residential slabs (25/40mm) to high-exposure civil applications (85/100mm). All are moulded from high-impact polymer with a wide, anti-tip base, and sold in bags of 100 — order alongside your bar and mesh for a single delivery.
